We offer a wide range of paving services which includes the professional preparation and laying of Block Paving, Flags and Slabs, Natural Stone Flags, Porcelain Paving, Setts, Cubes and Cobbles, Decorative Concrete Surfaces plus finishing touches such as edgings, edge restraints and kerbs.
Block paving is popular for surfacing driveways as it needs to take a great deal of punishment with the weight of parked vehicles, but also used for patios and paths with a range of styles and colours available.
For areas requiring a more decorative finish we also install Granite, Limestone, Slate, Sandstone, Porcelain and Concrete paving.
Paving preparation
Prior to laying your new driveway, pathway or patio, we make sure that the preparation is completed thoroughly and professionally so that the finished effect will look good for years to come.
Ground clearance
We will excavate the soil and remove all old pavers or slabs and any vegetation and other debris from the designated area. If any soil excavation work is needed, it will take place during this stage.
Site preparation
The site will be prepared using expert levelling techniques so that the base can be laid only if the soil is firm and compact.
Membrane
It is essential that a weed control membrane is laid to prevent weeds from coming through in between the paving slabs.
Sub-base
A layer of MOT-base is laid on top of the fabric and compacted to ensure that the surface is absolutely even.
Then… the paving
We will then lay the slabs on the completely levelled sub-base. After the necessary drying time has passed, we will thoroughly wash the paved area and prepare it for pointing.
Paving maintenance
Your newly installed paved surfaces will obviously require maintenance over time.
We can offer a highly professional after care service which includes re-grouting and repointing paving.
We can also offer a range of pathway, patio or driveway repairs, such as repaving damaged areas, replacing broken or loose paving slabs or block pavers, etc.
